When I saw these glass geese in my grandmothers salt and pepper collection I marveled at the smooth, sleek and elegant appearance. There was nothing extraneous – just the essence of what the shape of geese look like. I love how no matter where you place them they appear to interact with one another. So graceful looking that at first glance I thought they were swans. I was surprised when I turned it over and saw the Avon logo. I wasn’t surprised that it was a quality product but surprised that there were no frills or extra ornament to this piece.
From my research it appears this set was produced the late 70’s to early 80’s. When I clink them together it sounds like it is glass and the color appears to go all the way through.
